Our trained and compassionate staff members are dedicated to ensuring that residents have easy access to the healthcare they need. Whether it's a routine check-up, specialist visit, or therapy session, our transportation services are prompt, comfortable, and designed to cater to individual needs. Additionally, our transportation services extend to helping with errands such as shopping, visiting family, banking, and other essential tasks. According to a study cited by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), barriers to independent living were examined for two groups: individuals with disabilities and senior citizens.
Individuals with Disabilities
For individuals with disabilities, The top three barriers identified were personal safety , assistance with household skills, and assistance with medication.
Senior Citizens
For senior citizens, entirely different considerations were endorsed as the top barriers and included memory loss and/or disorientation, mobility difficulties, and running or wandering away.
